Hayden Sproat

Hayden was born and raised in Invercargill and has been working as a physiotherapist in private practice since he graduated in 2009. After several years working at Sportsmed Southern Physiotherapy he travelled to the UK for his OE, where he worked as a physiotherapist in a private practice in the centre of London.

Hayden then returned to settle in Invercargill and has recently become a director of the business. He completed a postgraduate certificate in acupuncture through the University of Otago in 2012 and enjoys the sports medicine side of Physiotherapy.

Along with his acupuncture skills, he focuses on manual handling and exercise prescription as key components of his treatment plans. He is a keen sportsman, particularly enjoying basketball and rugby, and works alongside many sports teams.

Hayden has been the physio for the Southland Sharks for the last few years, and was selected as the physiotherapist for the NZ Select Basketball team that toured China in 2018.

Hayden’s passion for exercise and healthy living has also led him down the path of opening a local Snap fitness gym and supplement business.
