Our team is fortunate to be involved across a range of high performance environments, which provides unique opportunities to work with athletes at the top of their game and continue developing our skills in sports physiotherapy. Working in these settings keeps us up to date with current rehabilitation approaches, strength and conditioning principles, injury prevention strategies, performance testing and return to sport decision making.
The knowledge, experience and technology we use in high performance sport doesn’t stay on the sideline. We apply the same principles to all of our patients, whether you are returning to sport, recovering from surgery, managing an injury, wanting to stay active, or simply aiming to stay strong and healthy for life.
In the 2026 season, Malachai Bright is the lead Physiotherapist to the Southland Sharks. Mark Alexander is the lead Physiotherapist for the Southland Stags and Stacey Allan is the lead Physiotherapist for the Southern Steel. Andrew Mackintosh is also supporting the Sharks and Stags this season.
We also work with the Academy Southland Athletes, with Anna Rankin the lead provider for this.
